Re: CHT and Oiltemperature sensors issur
After spending the whole weekend on the wiring and checking, I come to the conclusion that the RDAC must be damaged. In the analysis, I disconnected all sensors and reconnected again one after the other. During this, I observed the ADC values of the CHT, AUX, OILp. and OILtemp sensors. The result ...

CHT and Oiltemperature sensors issur
hello Rainier, i have an interesting problem with the temperature sensors (oil and cht). the sensors showed the correct temperature until i calibrated the fuel level transmitter. both sensors then show 20 degrees less. I have attached the pictures. Both sensors and the fuel level sender are connecte...

Re: NTC expected voltage readings (Carb Temp)
Hello Technerdian, hello Rainier, normally Rotax is using NTC Sensors. There is no problem to calibrate the MGL Device with this data. BUT if you have used a FLYDAt as EMS, than there are PT-100 Sensors with another Graph. Im was looking for the sensordata, but there is no chance. MAybe you are able...

Re: Converting a GTX-327 from Parallel to Serial Altitude Encoding
Ok i was sloppy with reading the manual. It is described in deatil: "SERIAL OUTPUT: Select “ON” to enable the RS232 serial altitude output. This formatted serial RS232 message can be directly interfaced to various RS232 serial input transponders. If a parallel Gillham output is required then a CNV-A...

Re: Converting a GTX-327 from Parallel to Serial Altitude Encoding
Hi, I just see that my question may have been misunderstood. I have the operating instructions for the GTX 327. I have to feed pin 19 with serial altitude data. Now the question is which of the two outputs on the Xtreme Efis delivers me the altitude data. Is that pin 7 or pin 5. I can do the rest. M...

Converting a GTX-327 from Parallel to Serial Altitude Encoding
Hello, I decided to join the 21st Century and change the altitude encoding inputs to my Garmin GTX-327 transponder from parallel to serial, driven by my Efis Xtreme. So far so good. Garmin supports the serial input, now i have to connect it now. At first, does somebody has experience with this issue...

CAN Bus 120 Ohm termination
Hi,
I have a question about the 120 ohm termination resistor.
3 resistors are used in the Extreme XF instruction manual.
Only two resistors are used in the wiring diagram.
Which version is valid?
Greetings
Christoph

Rotax 912 S Configuration CHT,EGT, Oilpressure, Oiltemperature and Fuelflow
Hello, I own an EFIs xtreme and RDAC XG and would now switch the sensors of the Rotax 912 S EGT, CHT, oil temperature and oil pressure from the Flydat to the RDAC and then do the configuration in the EFis. Furthermore, I have connected the fuel level transmitter and the fuel flow transmitter to an M...
