Re: Dual V16 problem

Thanks Adam,

For some reason I incorrectly believed the tx interlock was to stop simultaneous transmissions, makes sense that it would be as you describe. Will connect it up.

Dual V16 problem

I have dual V16 radios fitted to my jabiru, comm 1 using the standard antenna in the vertical stab. Comm 2 is connected to an underbelly com antenna.

When I have both comms on no 2 always breaks squelch when I transmit on comm 1. Makes no difference what freqs are being used.

Any ideas anyone.

Re: Alarm Acknowledge

On mine pressing the external alarm ack button stops the audio alarm but the light stay lit while ever that condition exists. For example if I have low voltage the light will stay lit until the voltage rises about the preset level, but won't yell at me if I acknowledge with the button.

Re: Fuel Flow Jabiru Engine

Stereo Thanks for that, I'll give it a go. Might take me a bit as I am away from the aircraft for a while now unfortunately. It sounds like the difference is the removal of the red cube from the aircraft bus and using the converter as a filter for the power and signal. I wonder if putting a converte...

Re: Fuel Flow Jabiru Engine

Stereo, I suspect you are into something here! It has always bugged me that an identical setup on a jabiru using Dynon is spot on while MGL is not. I have always wondered if the ground was the problem with the jabiru charging system but it appears you have solved the problem. Is they any chance of a...

Re: AUX 2 Problem

A quick update.

Bit the bullet and replaced the RDAC, fixed the issue so looks like it was a hardware issue.

Re: Alarm Acknowledge

Each of the various autopilot buttons are also disconnect . If you are connected on S&L and press the 180 it will disconnect and requires a second press to activate 180. Personally I would prefer that it went straight to 180, given what you might use it for! At leats that is how it is working on min...

Re: AUX 2 Problem

Checked the voltage today, showing 0v with Pull-up off, and 4.78v with pull-up on.

This was replicated with Aux1 after disconnecting the sensor.

I have also attached a shot of the diagnostics page.

AUX 2 Problem

Hi all, I suspect this may e a problem for Rainier though! I had a PT100 temp sensor on Aux 2 that stopped working one day, couldn't get any known working PT100 to work either. I tried an LM335 with no luck either. Aux 1 works fine. When I check the pull up I get the following readings, 5.7K off, 1....
