Re: MX1 "Copy Internal Flight Data Recording"

Been posted end of last week - have a look Rainier, The update fixed my initial problem of not being able to download the file (two steps forward). However the file doesn't seem to be readable by the BB Viewer (one step backward). At first I had thought it was because my data in memory was old and ...

Re: Inaccurate EGT readings

... the EGT display seems to lag heavily or be in-sensitive. Videos I have seen of other MGL setups show the EGT's changing every second (by about 5-10 degrees) and show instant response to throttle changes. My EGTs do not wander at all, even with change of power it takes 20-30 secs to display an a...

Bump

Any updates on this, I'd be interested in trying it out.
I run an O2 sensor on an IO-360 SDS setup and like how it eliminates guess work.

You might want to also take a look at 'jasflyer.com'. It's a pay program but does amazing things with the data. Search "flight data viewer" in youtube for some great demos.

Re: MX1 "Copy Internal Flight Data Recording"

That usually happens if the EFIS is unable to write to your external SD card. Are you using FAT32 on that card ? Go to the filemanager and log to the internal SSD. Pick any file and see if you can copy that file to your external SD card. Hi Rainier, Today I replaced the SD card with a new, differen...

MX1 "Copy Internal Flight Data Recording"

I've noticed that on the Simulator that the "Common Task / Copy Internal Flight Data Recording" is "Not available on simulator". Also listed on the "Recording setup menu". It seems that it is not available on the actual MX1 (firmware 0012 LS) either. When I select the menu item I get a popup saying ...

Re: MX1 GPS satellite map

Is your internal SD card working ?... Rainier Rainier, I'll check this out later today. However, I'm not sure that we are talking about the same thing. The actual 'maps' work fine. What I am calling 'satellite map' is the inset picture, above, that normally show which GPS satellites are visible at ...

MX1 GPS satellite map

Since firmware 10 my satellite map has been blank. Both pics. Upon installation of firmware 11 the GPS stopped getting locations altogether. But then yesterday I rebooted holding the knob to reinstall the firmware already on the mini-sd card. After that the GPS started working immediately but there ...

Re: Audio conexion

The voltage divider is necessary because the iEFIS units are designed to drive large audio loads (think cabin speaker) and as such, when connecting to a radio or audio panel has far too much power to be attenuated. Thanks Adam for this explanation. Knowing the "why" helps understand that what might...
