Has anyone had reboots because of airframe static discharge? I'm starting to look outside of the box for solutions.
One outside the box idea that is gaining steam is to remove the MX1 and put in some steam-gauges. Ok perhaps not real mechanical gages but 'singles'.

Re: MX1: diagnosing random reboot
Took the Sonex up today, MX1 freaked out just after rotation. Went into a boot-loop. Managed to get the volatile memory cleared while still climbing. It was nice to have airspeed indication to get back on ground though everything was out the window until I shut down later restarted. Still working ev...

MX1: diagnosing random reboot
Is there anyway to tell from the logs why my MX1 is rebooting? If not, how do I go about finding the culprit. I had thought it was a power spike or something like that but then my last flight I departed with the alternator off. About 7 minutes into the flight the MX1 reboot. It happens often and not...

Re: Fuel Flow all over the place
How was your FT-60 mounted?
Could it have been affected by vibration?
Where is it in relationship to your fuel pump, gascolator, carb?
Is it tilted down enough to let trapped air travel back toward the gascolator or tank?

MX1: Exporting Flight Folio - hang
Hi Rainier,
When selecting Export Flight Folio I get what you see in the picture. The MX1 is not frozen but the banner does not go away.

RPM reading from Revmaster
This is a similar question as the one @Rainier answered at ( https://mglavionics.co.za/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=2016#p2016 ) but with a dual system and a particular problem. The Revmaster has dual permanent magnet alternators. I have them wired with a 10K resistor from the AC line before the regulator...

MX1: W&B (solved)
Rainier, Ever since I installed the MX1 I've had trouble getting the W&B to calculate zero fuel w&b. Turns out I didn't understand that the W&B feature can use actual data or entered data. I was using "fuel entry" and not "fuel 1(1)". So I've discovered (at least on the simulator) that W&B will not ...

Re: World Map
Another...Along the same lines In the MX1 designer (ver 110 I have a nice terrain map showing, but on the actual MX1 I can not get that map to show. Only the raster sectional will show up. World map and 3 (USA) terrain maps are installed in the Terrain folder. Though I wonder how the MX1 uses the hi...

Re: Virtual Fuel Tanks
so are you saying I need to set up a virtual tank in the screen designer? If so can't do it. I don't think I have any real-estate left for another tank. You could leave out the 'tape' and just use the number of gallons remaining like... Screen Shot 2021-11-24 at 6.26.55 PM.png If you really want to...

Re: Virtual Fuel Tanks
Hi Can anyone tell me if its possible to set up virtual fuel tanks when you have four tanks. A. I have two RDACS, two tanks on one and two on the other. Adam made me a custom screen to show the four tanks. I can't get them to read correctly with the RDACs. B. Is there a way to set up the flow (RED ...
