Re: ADSB-in and out with a Voyager Odyssey G2
Hi Rainer an all, So my question to those who may have more insight in to this matter than me. Is it possible to use a generic wireless Bluetooth to RS232 Serial port module to build the link between the Microair Transponder that is using a wireless Bluetooth and GDL 90 protocol date, to communicate...

Re: ADSB-in and out with a Voyager Odyssey G2
Hi All, Well, I have got an answer from Microair about their T2000ADSB-IO transponder, sadly their transponder has no connectivity via a hardwired RS232 serial port using the GDL 90 protocol, which I now realise Rainer was saying in a more technical way in his recent post. So I am assuming, if you h...

Re: ADSB-in and out with a Voyager Odyssey G2
Hi All, As always there are many more things for Rainer to consider, when making a new EFIS, besides making it fit into our old Voyager/Odyssey instrument panel cut out and mounting holes. I was just thinking it would have been a good idea for us older MGL EFIS owners, when we start looking at upgra...

Re: ADSB-in and out with a Voyager Odyssey G2
Hi Rainer and All, This is getting off the topic a little, but I am just wondering if you have ever consider making one of your new EFIS models, to be a direct replacement foot print for our older Voyager Odyssey, so we can easily upgrade? Getting back the Voyager/ADSB question; Ok, I can't set up t...

ADSB-in and out with a Voyager Odyssey G2
Hi All, I am in Australia and seeking some advice about ADSB-in and out and setting this up to show on my Voyager Odyssey G2 EFIS's moving map with audio warnings. I do have a Microair Transponder which is only Mode C, so I am guessing this may need to be replaced. I have heard some people talking a...

Re: T16 Transponder
Thanks Rainer for the T16 update, I am waiting, but it's starting to look like there still is a journey to travel,
with the extra work, thanks to your Government and its CAA.

Re: Screen Designer
Just a quick reply and I could be wrong, but from memory there Is some type of screen timer you can to add to your screen design. It works like what is happening to you, when you select that screen page, it will show the screen design for the selected time and then moves on and shows the next screen...

Re: A/P Pitch Servo failure
Sounds like your Antenna has a much better ground plane with the copper/tin foil.

Re: A/P Pitch Servo failure
Hi Mike, I had the chance the other day to test my Jab's 2nd VH radio (V-10) whilst doing a cross country flight. This radio's antenna is on the bulk head just behind the sound wall near the pitch servo, I actually never use this 2nd radio. I was transmitting on the 2nd VHF radio with the autopilot ...

Re: A/P Pitch Servo failure
Hi Tasmag, Mike I am guessing with 4 weeks having gone past since your post, hopefully you have already solved your problem. Here are some thoughts, I would check your servo cable is twisted pairs with a braided shield. Any type of shielding for the elevator servo data cable should help, but may not...
