Re: Issue with Voyager EFIS GPS.
Hi All, Back to the GSP issue, so I have pulled my panel out again, lucky it only takes 10-15 minutes to have it out and ready to go home. Once home, I swapped the EFIS's over so the pilot side is the EFIS without the GPS issue in flight. I then opened up and removed the GPS /Comm's Board out of the...

Re: Issue with Voyager EFIS GPS.
Firstly, thanks Alain for you post and I did miss this until tonight, but thankyou for your experience with the GPS/USB board. I am thinking you could be on the money. Alain, can I ask what actually made you think it was the GPS/USB Board? I did try swapping the tacho back to the ignition coil but t...

Re: Issue with Voyager EFIS GPS.
I've also been following this thread because I have the same issue with my G2 Odyssey. I've improved contact between my gps antenna and the metal glare shield. This seems to have helped, but still getting occasional "gps not available". Reboot and it comes back on. Would a more powerful active ante...

Re: AOA tone generator
Can anyone tell me if my Voyager G2 EFIS can be set up with the AOATABLE.TXT file.
I did read where this variable pitch file can't used with earlier EFIS systems, so does that include the Voyager G2?
Cheers

Re: Issue with Voyager EFIS GPS.
What a saga, Jim! I'm posting to follow this thread, as I'm interested to see what your investigation will bring to light. Adam Hi Adam, thanks for your interest, a saga for some and a challenge for others, you could say. A saga it can be, as I can't make the EFIS fault in the plane on the ground, ...

Voyager Button Battery Holder Replacement and Re-Solder
Whilst Christmas is over and the aircon is doing a good job to keep me inside. So I decide to re-post this post I put on the old forum just in case you also had or have trouble losing the Hobbs hours due to your button battery being flat or in my case the battery holder starting to break out. I foun...

Re: Issue with Voyager EFIS GPS.
Well here is a further up date on my GPS issue for those that are following. I got impatient with the EFIS sitting on the bench waiting for the ribbon cables to arrive. So I left the camera ribbon cable swapped over and re-installed the Voyager EFIS into the plane. Just as a side note, I have two Vo...

Re: iEFIS dicky SD card slot
hi dutchroll, In my situation the back of the SD card module pushed out, so the SD card would push right into the EFIS, so I ended up having to super clue a bit of zip tie to the SD card so I could pull it back out of the module, as it could also still read. I replaced the SD card module in my Voyag...

Re: Electronic Checklist Blues--Problem Fixed!!
Hi Cecil, Yes it is possible to have checklists other than the types you can make up via the menu system and yes you can then change from one checklist page to the next by pushing the page - or page + when you have designed the screen and pages for your checklists. It's a shame the old forum posts t...

Re: Issue with Voyager EFIS GPS.
Further to my GPS issue. Yesterday, I pulled my Voyager EFIS that had the GPS problem. I did quite a bit of testing with the plane on the ground, with and without the engine running. I could not get the GPS to play up on the ground at all. It was only in flight it would randomly stop working for a s...
