Re: Trig Transponder Iefis Interface
"......the GPS is fine but does not have a current fix," does not agree with what is written in the manual, which says: "The first “RF” is for the EFIS. It means the transponder interface is receiving GPS information from the EFIS and this GPS has a valid FIX".

Re: ADSB Parameters Erroneous
I know I updated the all the software on my iEFIS, including the transponder software before I installed anything. That was probably Dec 2020. I notice there's a newer update but I haven't installed that as my transponder is working well. Perhaps your customer may benefit from it: http://www.mglavio...

Re: ADSB Parameters Erroneous
Sorry for the delay but I did, at last, manage to get to the hangar today and have a look at the transponder set up. I have the MGL interface between my iEFIS Lite and Trig TT21 transponder. I only have the TT21 body i.e no panel controller and all control is through the EFIS. This really was a plug...

Re: ADSB Parameters Erroneous
I will check what I entered on mine next time I'm at the aircraft but my iEFIS Explorer Lite works well with my TT21 and has done from day one.

Re: Why Doesn't The Autopilot Do Its Job Properly?
No, that causes all sorts of chattering with the test and, normally, results in the stick going to one position and 'knocking' against the stops. I've seen that before and changed a guy's set up so it didn't (I got lucky with mine and it didn't go through zero from day one). The autopilot works; jus...

Re: Why Doesn't The Autopilot Do Its Job Properly?
The AP is programmed to hold the aircraft within 50ft using a "herd mentality" - it will not force the altitude to 0ft but rather try gently. In calm conditions you can get there Today was so calm and smooth I could have fallen asleep. Somehow my '50ft herd' turned into +700' (from the 3000' Alt Ho...

Re: Why Doesn't The Autopilot Do Its Job Properly?
Thanks for the reply, Rainier, but I genuinely don't think it is anything to do with the mounting of the autopilot servos or the connections. Everything of mine has Loctite and is marked to show any movement. Hopefully the attachment will show the 'cage' in which the servos are mounted and secured t...

Re: Issue with Voyager EFIS GPS.
I'm not decrying your attempts to solve your problems, Jim, I'm just getting more annoyed at MGL that you have to do things like this, whereas the Garmin and Dynon owners do not. I'm quite conversant with the different classes of aircraft and kit and am probably more au fait with 'Experimental' than...

Re: Issue with Voyager EFIS GPS.
This is just getting ridiculous, in my opinion. Do you see Garmin and Dynon owners wandering around with EMI diviners, re-soldering parts that have shaken themselves to bits or looking for grounding excuses as to why their kit doesn't do the job it's supposed to? Meanwhile the silence is still stunn...
