Re: A few MX1 quirks
My MX VSI reads a little less than double the ASV1 which is reading correct. But my MX1 is reading the correct airspeed (GPS PEC calibrated), whereas the ASV1 airspeed is only good at approx 70 mph...can't dial them in the same. Fortunately the altimeters are reasonably close. Its frustrating... peter

Re: MX1 Nearest Airports Function
Bumping to update and for visibility. With the newest firmware, the problem persists as described above. The PocketFMS data is an 80% solution. You can use the navigational tools as intended and the 2D navigation works on the charts, but the HITS in the 3D view points in the wrong direction and air...

Re: MX1 Alarms
Yes - requires AOA port(s) and sensor and you have a nice way to use the audio system for this (with built in sounds as well as the ability to configure your own). You need a iEFIS Extender module which gives you the AOA sensor. Why the extender? Doesn't the MX1 already have the AOA ports that can ...

MX1 MAP
When I view my MX1 map it shows me at my correct location, ie at my home field. However, the closest airport on my map that I can tap to view or navigate to is 168 miles away (I'm in Philadelphia Pa airspace surrounded by airports). If I go to "NAV" and do an airport search, same thing...the closest...

MX1 Coolant Temp
If I choose NTC type sensor for this input where do I set the range? I can purchase VDO 250, 300 and 400 deg F sensors all having the same resistance so I imagine I need to scale the temp in the MX1. Where is this done? I would imagine the same will be true for AUX 1 & 2 as well. Please advise.. . T...

Re: More MX1
Great, I'll do that. I can get that data from Flight Aware. I'll confirm the calibration numbers as well.
Thanks,
Peter

Re: More MX1
Did you get your MX1 VSI issue resolved and if so what was the fix? I know its not my static source because my ASV1 VSI readings are good. I still have the altitude issue, both devices reading 300 feet low. Its frustrating trying to get thru the EAA test cards when so much data is bad. I cant even g...

Re: More MX1
Yes i have the g meter gremlin as well. I redid the in flight compass calibration and nothing changed. Compass, slip, horizon, VSI etc just dont work at this point. I do have the V17 firmwear rev and that fixed my recording issues but revealed new ones.
