Re: SP-7 AHRS failing
The symptoms you describe are very similar to those caused by vibration. Could there be a problem with the SP-7 mounting?

Re: Discovery Lite AHRS
Was the engine running? Vibration often causes this.

Re: V6 feedback on transmit
Could it be wind noise picked up by the second mic when it's connected? I had this problem in an open ultralight Drifter which was solved with a larger muff on the mic.

Re: Transceiver orientation
Speaking of rails and slight movement......
I'm very happy with my V16 (which happens to be mounted horizontally) but there is some free movement between the motherboard and the internal rails. It can be felt by gripping the antenna connection and gently moving it up and down.

Thanks Rainier,
I was hoping you might say something like that! I'm certainly happy with it, it's one of the nicest radios I've used.

V16 adjustment
Hi all,
I've recently replaced my V10 with a new V16. I've spent some time adjusting settings and now have it working quite nicely, although the microphone setting I have arrived at seems a bit extreme. Can anyone comment please?

Hi Dale,
I had a similar experience with mine and eventually put it in the bin. I just use my volt reading, which is a pretty good indicator.
