Just confirming- did you increase or decrease the spring loading?I changed out the springs, not a noticeable change in control pressure but the extra loading of the servo made a noticeable difference.

AP servo chattering
I have a problem with a roll servo fitted to a Glasair 3. The issue shows up on the ground using the AP servo checks- it will not settle at a selected position, but chatters around that point unless 'helped' by a little bit of stick pressure. In flight on a headling change/roll command it frequently...

V16- loose capacitor
I had been chasing a problem in a new V16 installation which over only a few hours flight had developed a high background noise over the intercom, and triggered even worse on tx. After spending a few hours checking wiring, earthing, screening, and disconnecting other equipment, I came to the conclus...

Re: V16 PTT
A simple unshielded grounded wire works fine.
Remember to connect to both PTT1 and PTT2 if you have a single PTT and want either mic to be live on transmist.

Re: Autopilot "Wallowing"
I still am fighting a pitch issue. Sometimes the ap pitch will hold for a long period while other times it will porpoise going up 500 fpm and down the same amount or more. So the altitude hold does not work as expected. The bank isn’t an issue and works fine. I had a similar problem with one instal...

Servo test utility
I kocked up a simple Windows servo test utility for a project, and thought it might be useful to others. Using the servo RS232 port, you can drive the servo to selected positions, monitoring positon and torque. You can also set up a test cycle with left and right limits, cycle count and cycle period...
