Re: V16 transmit getting RED Antenna
As a follow-up on my Radio High VSWR After trying a few different length of coax trying to get a perfect fit For my range of frequency, I decided to connect the V16 to my top of fuselage Antenna which is used to my spare Icom 200(old radio). Bang!! ……. No SWR at either 5W or 10W, I even noticed that...

wifi gateway --> Uavionix pingusb -->iEfis lite
From my iEfis lite I have my wifi gateway connected with the extender and connecting to the pingusb. I can send a flightplan from my Foreflight(iphone) to the iefis lite via the wifi gateway. I was expecting getting the ADSB receiver (Pingusb) to show the traffic on my iefis????? and I know the Ping...

Re: V16 transmit getting RED Antenna
Thx Rainier.
I would like to add a few more details.
If I choose 5W or 10W for transmission on the ground and engine not running (12.5V)
all is fine.
In the air with engine running and now with 14 V, I'm good transmitting at 5W but at 10W
I get the RED ANTENNA message..

V16 transmit getting RED Antenna
Here's the situation.
on the ground on 122.300 I get VSWR 1.0 and on 126.700 VSWR is 1.1
Pretty good in my book
I get in the air and transmitting on 122.300 is good.
In the air again transmitting on 126.700 I get the RED Antenna fault
I'm at lost with that one.
Regards

Re: Odd EFIS problem
Hello all. The reason my Transponder connected to the Extender was acting-up is that the TX from the Extender going back to the iEFIS was pulled out from my connector, as Rainier said a bad connection. With everything well connected now I will try putting back 1.1.2.2 and see if it will power on/off...

Baud Rate iEFIS / Extender
Is it possible to find out what are the Baud rates established on:
iEFIS (Challenger). Port1 and Port2 ??
Extender Port2 to Port6 ??
Does the baud rate get set depending on what the port is set to be use for???
If yes, what does the Sandia transponder get set to???
Regards

Re: Odd EFIS problem
Here how it goes. I'm in a hangar for the winter so no GPS fix for me. I installed the version that Rainer released for us 1.1.2.3(beta) and the reboot is not happening... Yeaaa. I had my transponder (Uavionix declared as Sandia) connected to the Panel on Port2, so I connected my Extender(RX1,TX1) t...

Re: RDAC XF MAP software update...
Well somehow I ended up installing 1.1.2.2 from this site on my Challenger from 1.1.1.0 and the RDAC was having trouble being updated. So I went back to 1.1.2.1 and re-installed my RDAC update and Kaboom the RDAC loaded to 100% and was again working. That version on the other hand seems to be having...
