Re: Lithium battery charging

Whose batteries are you using? I've lost count of the amount of lithium batteries I've put into all kinds of "toys", whether on ground or in air, that I can just apply a minimum of 13.5V to and let the battery's internals do its thing. Even cheaper batteries from companies like Bioenno Power or Dako...

Re: Data sharing

The EFIS and EMS don't directly communicate with each other - they exist as stand-alone devices in a way. Rainier may have a way to avoid this, but from my own anecdotal findings you will in fact need two OAT probes, but not two GPS antennas only because the EMS does not have a GPS receiver built in...

Re: Stratux

If it was already set up then all you should need to do is just switch up to 115200 baud provided you're on a release within the last 3 or 4 months with Stratux. If not just re-flash the SD card. If you go to to the settings menu on the stratux webui you'll see a new serial port spot if it detects t...

Re: Stratux

Latest Stratux revisions run 115200 baud now, so you can set the receive baud rate to NAVWORX instead of STRATUX. I have gotten my Stratux receiver working doing this. Another thing - have you done the reconfiguration of the RS-232 to USB converter that is required for Stratux to use it?

Re: Database update missing frequencies?

Jack,

You must've missed my reply asking if you've tried the even later navidata?

The navidata post you posed the question on is already 2 cycles out of date - have you tried on the latest update yet (effective 11/05)?

Thanks
Adam

So a form of TAS? Is it estimating distance based on receive dBm?

Re: T16 update

Rainier, So the T16 will not need the SP12 to be ADS-B OUT compliant? Is ADS-B IN going to be part of the feature set? The SP-12 will be required as the ADS-B Approved Position Source. That way it keeps the certifications separate and unit cost cheaper, particularly for those who only need Mode C c...
