Did you install the CAN terminator 3-pin connectors too?

Re: V16 static at 126.00
Turn off your hangar lights and see. Some LED and fluorescent lights will cause a static like this.

Re: RDAC XF and RDAC ULP
OK sorry - I was not aware you are using an XTreme. Good news it is possible. Here is how: XTreme EMS: Connect ULP via serial port and use RDAC on CAN XTreme EFIS: Version 9.00 14/09/2020 -------------------------------------- Hardcoded UL Power RDAC to address 2 so we can use the normal RDAC for T...

Re: V16 com1/com2 switch on digital input
Edwin,
I'm not 100% clear on what you are asking, but is it safe to assume that you are looking to have a switch that changes you from com 1 to com 2? Or are you looking for a switch that does frequency flip on the radio you are presently talking on?

Re: UL Power engine, ECU and RDAC CAN
Very well done indeed. I'm still on the 32 bit side here - at least on my dev machines. Just too many of my day to day applications don't work or only partially work on Windows 10 so I am still stuck here typing this on my trusty 32 bit Windows 7 box. It's been bullet proof. Don't worry - the rest ...

Re: OAT wiring - testing?
I have grafted on the wires of the supplied OAT sensor to the relevant wires of the iBox PWR connector. As I understand it, OAT green goes to iBox black on pin 4 and OAT red goes to iBox green (TMP) on pin 9. I have used solder sleeves, which are new to me But how to test my work? Should there be c...

Re: Bar scale. MGL Xtreme EFIS
Very content U.K. user of a new MGL Xtreme EFIS for a year. Now using the amazing black box Enigma output facility. Two odd issues though. 1. My fuel pressure data on the MGL Extreme display reads in the correct sense. It routinely indicates between 0.1 bar and 0.3 bar. Quite normal for my aircraft...

Re: No Sidetone on V16, frequency tuning
1) I cannot get sidetone to work, I've tried both settings, I get good TX and RX, I just can't hear what I'm transmitting. This only causes a bit of a confidence problem, I'm not sure I'm actually transmitting unless I get a response. There's two things that cause sidetone to work - 1 is IC volume,...

Re: EFIS tripping ECB
Put an amp-clamp or use a multi-meter with ammeter capabilities and see what the current draw of the EFIS actually is.

Hello everyone, I am working with a user out of Wasilla, AK who is looking for help with his MGL IEFIS Installation that has been giving him a few troubles. We believe there to be a potential issue in the wiring, but not certain. Please let me know if you're able to help out and I'll make the connec...
