Re: Efis Lite AHRS
Rainier, I am attempting to debug a similar issue and would like to know a little more regarding the raw sample rate of the AHRS? It sounds like these harmonics are affecting the filter. In more technical terms, are these harmonics above the nyquist frequency of the sampling and thus are being alias...

Re: Hobbs Meter
A firmware update was just posted (17 September 2021 Version 1.1.1.0) and it looks like it should fix the Hobbs Meter issue with the Rotax 912iS. I'm looking forward to testing it next week.
Thanks development team!

Re: Hobbs Meter
Bumping this thread in hopes that this bug (hobbs meter running even when 912is engine is off) will be acknowledged by the development team and fixed appropriately.
Is this the proper way to report bugs? Is there another (better) method?

Re: Hobbs Meter
Has anyone heard from Rainier or other MGL support regarding this bug? BTW, Ken just mentioned the ability to view engine hours, ecu hours and throttle setting for the 912is on the Xtreme EMS (even though it appears to be buggy for him). This is also possible with my Challenger-lite but only in a sp...

Re: Hobbs Meter
I agree, I hope Rainier will recognize this is a bug and patch it for the next firmware release.

Re: Hobbs Meter
Bill, sorry I am a few months late with a response. I have a 912is and can confirm that the Hobbs on my iEFIS (challenger lite) runs with the lanes off and RPM at 9001 at about 1/4 rate. I am not flying yet so this hasn't bothered me too much since it doesn't matter if I reset the EFIS Hobbs by remo...

Re: iEFIS Screen designer and Simulator - AOA functionality?
Yes, I have already done this but still don't see the existing AOA nor will it show it if I explicitly instantiate one in the screen designer tool. Perhaps I am not doing all that I need to enable the AOA. Here is what I did based on menu titles: 1. Menu -> System setup menu -> Equipment enables -> ...

Re: iEFIS Screen designer and Simulator - AOA functionality?
I just discovered that when the simulator and screen designer are in "normal" EFIS mode, the AOA appears and functions properly. However, in "lite" mode, the AOA doesn't appear on-screen in either the simulator or screen designer. Has anyone experienced this problem? Are there any workarounds or is ...

iEFIS Screen designer and Simulator - AOA functionality?
I am starting to customize my screens using the screen designer and simulation tool for the latest G3 update (1.1.0.3). I am attempting to define a module in the screen designer using the AOA display as documented in the iEFIS alteration guide. However, when I instantiate the AOA object in the scree...
