Solution:
It seems the jacks for the radio were being grounded when the subpanel was pushed into place. By trimming the panel in those areas, I was able to push the subpanel in place without interference with the jacks, and the radio works now.

Adding files to SD card
I have an Xtreme EFIS. It will read the checklist on the SD card that came with the system, but will not read any files I add from my Windows 10 computer. And it does not seem to read the navigation file. What am I missing?
