MX1 bad data copied to SDcard
I did the first test flight with my MX1 yesterday, with data logging set to internal memory. I succesfully copied the file to SD card after the flight, and tried to view it on my Windows 10 computer. When II tried to import it to the MGLBBTool 1.0.4.2 ("MGL EFIS data recording tool"), I got "Importe...

Re: Open AIP Data
Hi. In my case (Spain) I imported directly from ENAIRE, from the offcial AIP (this is up to date for sure). You can see how I did it in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dvBMh2t_68 Best regards. I'd like to avoid doing separate handling per country, that's why the openflightmaps is so ap...

Re: Open AIP Data
I've looked deeply into converting the openflightmaps.org data to the maps & airspaces for our MX1. I ended up doing a python tool to run it automatically and I'll publish it as soon as it's polished enough. However, there is one thing in MGL Central that I'd like to get figured out first: How do I ...

Re: Request info download / install Scandinavian Maps
I used Openflightmaps.org for Finland and Sweden (EPSG3857 tiles and ARINC424 airspace data). Norway seems to be not supported yet, but you may want to contact ofm about the status of it.
The conversion was relatively easy but required a bit of massaging for airspaces (line-ending change).

Re: HP calculation
The engine power can be calculated from equation: HP = RPM * torque * scaling (depends on units) The torque produced depends on: compression ratio (engine specific constant) volumetric efficiency (engine specific: depends on RPM) Air/Fuel ratio i.e. mixture ignition timing MAP : i.e. "how much mixtu...

Re: Terrain file from elevation data
And I just saw the other post which explains that MX1 does not have any terrain features. That means that the terrain generation is no longer relevant to me...
I'm leaving the post here in case it helps someone else.

Terrain file from elevation data
Living in Finland means that we're outside the 60N - 60S area of USGS shuttle elevation data area, so I'm trying to compile a high resolution terrain elevation data from other local sources. However I haven't found a method to do that in MapMaker or other tools. Is there a tool to do that?

MGL_Central on command line?
I'm trying to automate the airspace conversion from ARINC424 (OpenFlightMaps) to EFIS MX1 and while the conversion worked ok (after I changed the LF to CR/LF in the file), I can't find command line parameters from the documentation. I tried the usual --help, -h, /? /help, but those just open a windo...

Dittel KRT2 on MX1?
I found out that Odyssey devices (iEFIS G2?) got KRT2 support in a firmware update A1.0.3.4. I'm wondering if MX1 has it as well, and if so, which protocol should I choose in the configuration? Since my plane has KRT-2 already and I'm installing MX1, it would be a nice bonus
Thanks!
