Re: Enigma acknowledge light
if your oil pressure is not within limits you set in your oil pressure setup menu acknowledging the alarm only shuts it up - it does not fix your oil pressure and it will remain in alarm condition.

Update Thursday 12th October 2023. The Discovery Lite MK2 (aka MX2) prototype has completed all tests and is good. We have submitted for component purchase and kitting for a first production run. We are hopeful this new EFIS will be available in February. Some further details. The new EFIS runs our ...

Re: Older RDAC XB not reading RPM
If you get a solid pulse like that the RDAC should not have any issue at all. If it does not indicate - can you check the number of pulses per revolution setup in your instrument to make sure it is not set to some very high number that is not realistic. If that does not change anything we would have...

Re: Plans for an iBox V2 & related?
There is not a huge amount of data kept by this - it's your virtual tank levels, hobbs and it keeps your real time clock alive.
If you take a note of your current readings - you can always reenter them afterwards through the EFIS. Not a train smash...

The mini-circuits filter looks quite good - I think it would perform better than our filter which is less elaborate.

Re: Wind Indication Arrow

These are normal screen items so if you make a derivative of any screen or a new one from scratch you can place the wind arrow and related wind speed anywhere you like. Note ...

If you see a blank page your browser thinks the page is on another server and depending on your security settings it will not go there. In fact it is on the same server but with a link that suggests it may not be - this is because the original website pages were imported from another host that we no...

Re: V16 audio shields - ground location
The shield should be grounded on one side only (so no current can flow through the shield). The shield should connect to a ground that is referenced to the most sensitive piece of equipment - as that equipment will use that ground as reference. In this case the most sensitive piece of equipment is t...

Re: Older RDAC XB not reading RPM
The UMA sensors output a pulse which a voltage equivalent of the supply voltage (usually 12V) - so that is an ideal signal and easy to use with any of our RDACs. Ballast is not used (that would almost short the signal to ground). If there is no indication chances are there is no pulse either. In thi...
