Re: RDAC CAN firmware
Yes you can reprogram the firmware and it should work fine

Re: Wind Indication Arrow
You have a very useful "can bus activity tracker" in your diagnostics menu if you have a recent version of the iEFIS and iBOX firmware installed (also works for Lites). It gives you a lot of detail on what is connected, message rates, data rates, bandwidth used etc.

Re: Wind Indication Arrow
The SP-6 would be connected to the CAN bus - on the "Lite" it's on the same connector that also gives you the RS232 port number 2. On a system with iBOX you have two CAN bus systems (they are independent but for all practical purposes behave as one). You could connect the SP-6 to either of these.

Re: MX1 Alarms
Yes - requires AOA port(s) and sensor and you have a nice way to use the audio system for this (with built in sounds as well as the ability to configure your own).
You need a iEFIS Extender module which gives you the AOA sensor.

Re: XTreme autopilot slow airspeed limit?
Servo magnitude at 20 is seriously high as is the target rate of turn. The magnitude dictates how much servo movement to apply for a given desired correction. If that's too much it will over-control - in particular if you tell it to aim for 3 degrees per second turns. Try 2.5 degrees per second and ...

Re: N16+Vega getting interference from COM transmissions
The filter is not very steep so the effect likely is limited unless from the higher COM frequencies. The N16 should not really be affected much by nearby COM transmitters - I'm thinking there is something else going on there... Can you give us a better idea on what the COM and NAV installation looks...

Re: N16+Vega getting interference from COM transmissions
COM is very close to Localizer in the frequency band and if you transmit on COM it is possible that your localizer antenna is getting a very strong signal that is larger than what the N16 input can handle - the N16 reacts to this by reducing the gain of a pre-amplifier and if that still is too much ...

Re: Open AIP Data
You will need the ARINC424 document - unfortunately it is quite expensive and may not be given away. Even with that - it will be a challenge - the format is not simple as airspaces get described usually as a series of connected shapes. The example you post is a simple one - here it uses a series of ...

Re: Higher Oil Pressure config
For the VDO sensors select the 150 ohm type (this equates to the active range) which is roughly 30-180 ohms. Also select resistance increases with pressure. Note that the VDO sensors have pretty large tolerances so if you get a reading of say 5.3 bar - it could be anything around that value +/-20%. ...

Probably around 75mV (differential) equivalent to about 1800 degrees C on a K-Type probe (which will melt before reaching that...)
