Re: Trig T22 firmware problem

OK you have some valuable hints in your report. The most valuable one is that your tower cannot see you when you have a bit of distance. This means either your transponders transmitter is blown or there is an issue with your antenna or cable/connectors. Your Trig transponder is quite powerful with 2...

Re: Hobbs Meter

The Hobbs tach RPM is set way too low - your 100% RPM for a 912 should be around 5400. Can you please install www.mglavionics.co.za/Beta/EXP3.BIN (That is version 1.1.0.5). Just want to make sure we are on the same page. Also please check if you get the CAN RDAC diagnostics in the diagnostics menu -...

Re: K-Factor Fuel Flow

flow senders installed on the inlet side of a pump usually not a good idea (OK if you have wing tanks as then the fuel here is under some pressure if the flow sender is installed lowisch in relation). You can end up with instant carburation problems in the flow sender leading to vapor bubbles in the...

Re: Hobbs Meter

The lite (if you are running current firmware) will not count the hobbs or tach if the RPM reads the 9001 code.

Re: Freq flop com 1 button

Many ways to kill a cat... The easiest is a switch to 12V as the iBOX effectively contains a pull down resistor (as part of a voltage divider) on its input. However what you can do very easily is connect say a 4K7 resistor (Value not hugely critical - anything from 2K2 to 10K should work) from the i...

Re: Freq flop com 1 button

Yes you can use the power from the iBOX output. Please en sure that that goes via a fuse (2A). Any overload here can damage the iBOX if you do not have a fuse in line. Apply 12V from any source to your desired iBOX analog input via a momentary closure contact then assign your desired function in the...

Re: Hobbs Meter

What EFIS are you running ?
I know this was something reported in the past so current systems handle this correctly.
If you have something with an iBOX make sure you update it to the current firmware.

Re: using plates (airport runway diagrams)

If you are using standard screens (or close to that) you will find the plates viewer on page 9. On the Odyssey/Voyager the plate files are always on the external SD card - press the "Plates" key on the left when on page 9 (The plates key will show if there is a plates viewer on the screen). Now you ...
