Not sure why you would want to connect the GPS to the RDAC.
The Xtreme manual is quite clear where the GPS should be connected. Page 69.

Re: Fuel level sender for MGL Extreme EMS and RADAC-MAP
I'm not sure what answer you are after - there is no magic when it comes to measuring fuel quantity from a sender. The instrument measures voltage. In cases where the sender is passive it tends to be just a variable resistor to ground so you can switch a pull-up resistor in line to a 5V source. So y...

Re: Does anyone know the fuel flow sample/refresh rate?
We average flow over a 4 second period - this interval was arrived at as the most suitable compromise between update rate and repeatability. Flow is anything but steady in most applications.

Re: SP12 / MX1 GPS issue
I have an interesting and inconvenient issue where my MX1 internal GPS and SP12 do not agree. I think this is the source of a few problems, probably the most important of which is that my ADSB broadcasts an incorrect altitude. The manual on the SP-12 gives some hints. You need to tell us a bit more...

Re: Fuel Flow Sender Jet size for Rotax 914
On a 914 we install one sender into one of the carb feeds using the 2mm jet (second smallest in the packet). We then "lie" about the k-factor - it should be 7000 normally - we tell it 3500. Half. This way the readout doubles. While this only really shows the flow on one of the carbs it works well.

Re: MGL fuel flow meter Jets
K factor is the number of pulses your flow meter produces for a given quantity of liquid passing through it. Nothing more - nothing less. In our case we work in liters - and our sender with a 2mm jet correctly installed - you get about 7000 pulses per liter within the flow range as noted in the doc ...

Re: CHALLENGER Lite problem
You can usually use an XF together with any other RDAC - your EFIS supports up to 4 RDAC devices - you need to make custom engine monitoring displays for that of course but that is fairly easy to. The RDAC CAN-LAD firmware is not written by us and we do not have it - it appears to be something that ...

Re: BLAZE SW Update problems
After you started the upgrade utility and selected the correct COM port (verify that in your Windows Device manager) - are you holding down the F2/Down key while powering up the Blaze ? This is needed to force the Blaze into the update mode. Your RS232 converter - do you have a RS232 driver between ...

Re: Why Doesn't The Autopilot Do Its Job Properly?
Yes connecting the XTreme onto the same bus as the iEFIS can lead to issues - even if the XTreme is not setup to control the AP it still sends out messages containing velocity which is used by the SP-7 to help with AHRS aiding. Later versions of XTreme firmware can be set to not send this message. S...

www.mglavionics.co.za/Beta/MGL_Central.exe This is a Beta preview of version 2.3. It has several changes. Added is an import for airspaces from OpenAIP in json format. Imports for the other files (airports, waypoints, obstacles etc) are not yet functional). Further to this it is now once again possi...
