That's not the way this is intended to work.
You switch between lights on, off and wig wag using a connected compatible EFIS system.

Re: Trig 22 problem
The adapter (i.e. the MGL Trig interface that is built into the DB25 connector shell is powered by the Trig itself - it has a 6V power output on one of the pins). The 12V goes straight through to the Trig (not touched by anything related to the interface). The LED doing the flashing is done by the i...

Yes.
Here is what the SP-14 looks like (without its clothes on). Dual 1090ES and 978Mhz UAT plus mode-A/C receiver and distance estimator.
There is no SP-13, owing to tradition we skipped that number

Re: Electrical protection?
If your power supply and ground wiring has been done right there is no issue leaving your EFIS on during engine start. Our systems are well protected against spikes caused by load dumps and I am not aware that we ever lost even one due to this. It is preferable to be able to watch oil pressure at en...

Re: COM Radio not detected
Have a closer look at your CAN bus wiring please - it's not connecting to the V16. The message goes away the moment it sees a data packet coming through from the V16 which happens around 8 time per second or so. Use a ohm meter to measure across the CAN data lines. You should get 60 ohms (two 120 oh...

Re: Stability of EGT and CHT readings Xtreme EMS
Usually this tends to indicate that your RDAC is not correctly grounded and you have a potential difference between the engine block and the ground supply of your RDAC that is fluctuating rapidly (which is pretty normal). Please ensure that you follow the advice in the installation manual - The RDAC...

Re: AOA system in MX1
I know there was a development posted on Van's by one of our longest serving supporters Cecil who is also on this list. Not sure on the status of this project but it looks like it went quite far. It uses the black box data feed which also includes the AOA among many other things.

Re: Trig T22 firmware problem
You should NOT have the extended squitter transmitting on the ground. The TT22 does not do ADS-B ground mode (which uses slightly different ADSB transmissions). It would appear your squat switch is working the wrong way around. Check your setup in the EFIS - normally you would use the automatic flig...

Re: Hobbs Meter
Thanks for trying that out.
Are you not seeing a diagnostics option for "CAN RDAC 1 ECU status information" ?
