Re: Voltage 28 v. 14

Nothing to do other than connect the RDAC to 24/28V instead of 12/14V supply. The RDAC and many of our sensors like the AHRS etc have linear voltage regulators - that means they produce the required regulated output voltage (usually 5V or 3.3V) in one or two stages by converting excess energy to hea...

Re: AOA tone generator

Make sure the last line is terminated with a carriage return / line feed - the system will complain if the file just ends there even if there is an end of file marker - it wants to see a proper terminated line. Add a blank line or comment line at the end to make sure - just in case your text editor ...

Supply the RDAC with 28V as well.
It does work - the specs are a bit conservative.

Re: Where to find an old Enigma Display

Yes they were sold World wide - they are scarce as hens teeth though, they are quite popular second hand and tend to fetch good prices when changing hands. They are pretty robust devices and tend to last very well.

Re: Manuals

There is no menu option to use the current sensor on RDAC 2 as RDAC 1 if that is what you are intending to do. If you want to use a current sensor connected to RDAC 2 then you need to customize your screen(s) to add a readout for it in the way you would like it. If you want to use it on RDAC 2 inste...

Re: Iefis explorer modo espejo

First update your EFIS firmware to this: www.mglavionics.co.za/Beta/EXP3.BIN (That is the latest version but not officially released yet) In Operations setup menu you will find an entry to select standard or low noise video timing. Some monitors cannot handle the low refresh rates for the low noise ...

Re: Database update missing frequencies?

The frequencies are picked up from the FAA ARINC 424 database.
If they have been removed for that airfield by the FAA then they will not show on the EFIS.

Re: AOA tone generator

Sure, just create a small file using a basic text editor such as notepad with the name AOATABLE.txt Then copy the below text and edit as you like. Copy this file into your EFIS "Other" folder. It will be loaded on startup and replace the built in default table. ;User AOA tone sequence table ;Minimum...

Re: Track to waypoint not updating real time

A track is always between two points. Your aircraft's HSI shows how far you are off track. When you do a "Goto" to a waypoint or advance on a flight plan you have two points - "From" and "To". The moment you do a "Goto" the current position is your "From". The item you are looking for is "Course to ...
