Re: Firmware update of Razor head
If you see the OK on start it means you are seeing the Razor TX on your RX. The update program sends a response to this "PROG" and in turn it will get a message back to say the Razor is now in programming mode. This is not happening so that means the TX from your PC is not arriving at the RX of the ...

Re: Two transceivers, one antenna
Yes that is possible. If two antennas are very close and aligned you will have a very large coupling of energy between the two. A strong transmitter can blow the receiver on the other side quite easily. It depends a bit on how the receiver is constructed. In most cases the first stage is closely cou...

Re: V 16 green flashing led
It means the V16 is happy. We use flashing LEDs on most of our products, sometimes with variable flashing sequences to signal specific states. In case of the V16 it just does a regular flash. It is switched on and off by the processor as part of its normal program execution. So if it flashes it mean...

Re: SP9 Crash on TakeOff???
Couple of hundred of these are in the field. My guess is that you have a mounting issue that is causing the SP-9 to exceed its maximum gyro rates on take off - it could be due to runway bumps or engine vibrations with an infirm mounting. The SP-9 will loose track like any AHRS if gyro rates are exce...

My guess would be "no". I have no idea how your trim system works. The AP uses a Ray Allen trim servo or equivalent

Re: MGL V6 LOST SIDETONE
Please also note that for the last 4 years MGL does not make or distribute the V6 radio. They have changed but I am no longer in the loop. They are now South West electronics V6 radios.

Re: MGL V6 LOST SIDETONE
Sounds like you TX transistor is blown - likely caused by a bad antenna match ?
You may have to send it in for a repair.

Re: Direction to VOR indicator - G3
No
Use the radial numeric readout.
The VOR paddles are a non standard but quite convenient way to indicate direction to station.

Re: menu problems
Challenger system. 1.) When I tap "Menu", then "System Setup", then ""Standard System Selections" I get a red field with the words "Not available in flight". Why is this happening? Nothing is powered-up or running except for the EFIS. 2.) In the Engine Setup menu, no matter what I do for TC scan nu...
