Please load V3.07 onto the "good" unit and lets see if it freezes (Maybe some sort of setting or installation issue). On the "frozen" unit, reload V3.07 and load default settings (This will default all settings to factory defaults).

Are you using the Log-1 datalogger? If not then your datalogger will record binary data as described in the serial communication protocol doc on our website.

XT2EFISFW is for generation 2 Xtreme EFIS. Xtreme.FW is for Generation 1 and XT3EFISFW for Generation 3.

The version number is displayed on the start up screen. Version 1.xx for Gen1, Version 2.xx for Gen 2, Version 3.xx for Gen 3.
