Re: Avioguard
Thanks Rainier but if it cannot protect my EFIS system which I bought it for of what use is it? Two screens and a Ibox is not a lot to ask of a protection system.
Re: Avioguard
Thanks, I know it's not just me. I'm installing a avionics fuse bus. I noticed that the Avioguard seems to not be available for sale, Michigan doesn't list it anymore. It would have been nice if we got a heads up from the manufacturer....
Re: Avioguard
After checking the avioguard again today with a input of 14V the output is now 3.86 volts. Obviously this piece of equipment has no place in a airplane and will be removed as a total loss.
Avioguard
If I install more than the Ibox and two screens the voltage on the Avioguard drops to 9.8 V. Obviously this is unacceptable.

Grounds. It's almost always poor grounds.
Re: PC-680
Nevermind, I guess they realized the price was too low, refunded my charge.
Re: PC-680
PC-680, not 60
PC-680
If anyone is looking for a Odyssey battery, Powerstride is selling the PC-60 for $162, free shipping and if you check the box that says you're using it for a solar installation, no tax.

Re: Installation questions
I ended up with a rat's nest but it works. Ibox, two screens, V16, Sandia xponder, Echo UAT, Trutrack Vizion and avioguard.
