Ok thanks.
I guess I'll have to adapt.

Re: xtreme not logging to .rec any more
Yes that gives me what I want. Thanks, Franz. :) Here are a few pointers for users of this new feature: • KML settings are specified under Settings • It defaults to Clamp to Ground. Remove that checkmark to display the track with altitude • Select Extrude to show the ‘roller coaster’ style as used b...

Re: xtreme not logging to .rec any more
Hi Franz,
It appears that only image files can be attached.
So I am sending my .csv file to the info@mglavioncs address.
Thanks,

Re: xtreme not logging to .rec any more
Considering the lack of responses, does that mean being able to virew in Google Earth is no longer (easily) possible?
Should I revert to an earlier version of Xtreme software if I want to view in Google Earth?

Re: xtreme not logging to .rec any more
Ah, ok.
Is there a recommended way of generating kml files to use with Google Earth?
I tried extracting the lat, lon columns into a text file and then used a csv to kml converter tool (GPS Vosualizer). Failed.
Thanks.

xtreme not logging to .rec any more
My xtreme used to faithfully record to enigma.rec. Now nothing. Logging to .csv files works fine. Tried:
Upgraded to latest version (2.08);
Replace enigma.rec with a new empty one.
I want the .rec capability back so I can export to kml and view on Google Earth.

Re: Canadian maps
I used the Pocketfms map and nav data package mentioned by Rainier earlier. It is under their Easyvfr label now. You can try it out for free at https://easyvfr4.aero/aerodata/mgl-efis/ One thing to be aware is that these are vector maps. I much prefer them, but others may not. On the other hand it c...

Automatic Flight time for electric aircraft?
Rainier I understand how automatic flight time is initiated depending on ASI and rpm. The rpm is obtained from an input feeding through an RDAC. The RDAC also services other parameters related to engines such as temperatures and pressures. ELectric motors have none of these. It is not worth getting ...

Re: Canadian maps
Often what I use to determine when to get new PocketFms is to keep up with new obstacles, particularly wind turbines.
