Re: Incorrect Plates loading
Digging through the plates xml, it seems as though the data is well formed. There is a 1-to-1 mapping between entries in the xml file and .mgp files and the paths to the mgp files seem to match what is described in the xml. An excerpt from the xml file: <PFMSPlateItem AirfieldID="EHRD" PlateType="VA...

Incorrect Plates loading
I'm running the PocketFMS plates on my Explorer iEFIS, but it seems to always load the incorrect plate. When selecting a plate by the IACO identifier or via the Nav menu, an incorrect plate is loaded. It seems to always load the airport diagram (as opposed to the VFR procedures plate or whatever els...

Re: iBox CAN Bus Failure?
Indeed it turned out to be an iBox failure. Replacing the "CAN interface chips" didn't fix it so I ended up getting the entire processing PCB replaced.
Thanks to Olivier from Delta Omega (the French distributes) for sorting me out so quickly.

iBox CAN Bus Failure?
Having recently taken ownership of a new plane with an iEFIS system, I decided to re-wire my entire airplane due to shoddy workmanship on the initial install. Having re-configured everything, the system seemed to be working well. :) All the devices communicated with one-another and overall everythin...

Re: UI Zoom in Simulator vs actual panel
I've looked the windows magnification settings, but those are disabled (fresh Windows install running the latest simulator and EFIS also recently updated). I also tried disabling display scaling in case that had an effect. Sill, I find no effect. I can imagine that there may be small differences, bu...

Re: UI Zoom in Simulator vs actual panel
Not insulting at all! I'm kinda expecting it to be something stupid like this.
That said, I have double checked I'm using the correct project size.

Re: Iefis explorer freeze and com issues
Hi Diamond, I seem to be having a similar issue with my TY91. When you say you fixed it "by moving the efis connector", what exctly do you mean? Did you try a different port? Second question: are you using the SL40/Garmin protocol, or are you communicating via the TMAP/Trig interface and how did you...

UI Zoom in Simulator vs actual panel
TL,DR; Is there a UI zoom setting? There seems to be a difference between the screens I design in the simulator and how they are displayed on my iEFIS panel. Specifically all the text and numbers seem a bit larger when I load my custom screens onto my EFIS so that text over-runs itself. I've searche...
