Fuel Level Alarm - Missing Enables
I have a Text Fuel level Displayed over an Alarm Field. Below that, there is a fuel level Bar Graph. The Fuel Level Text reports the Correct Tank level as expected. As the fuel level gets lower, the Bar Graph shrinks as expected, and eventually turns RED as expected. The Fuel Level Text Data Source ...

Re: Hobbs Meter
I installed the latest EXP3.BIN file and let the EFIS run for 2 hours with the Lanes OFF and the RPM Displaying 9001.
The HOBBS and TACH Timers did not increment any amount at all, as expected!
It looks like we have a working solution!
Thanks, Rainier!!!
I'll bet that was a sneaky bug to find.
Bill.

Re: Enlarging digits on screen for better ease of reading
You will need to download the EFIS simulator and modify your screens with larger font sizes. After uploading the modified screens back to the EFIS you will have larger Digits. You will quickly begin tweaking all the screens so they make the most sense to you. The first time you do this is a bit inti...

Re: MX1 - SP-6 magnetometer/electronic compass
Depending on the type of aircraft and the country you are opening in, The SP-6 would fulfill the requirement for the Magnetic Direction-Indicator.
Even for VFR Day flight, CFR 91-205(b)(3) mandates it in the US.
The EFIS does not have a magnetic heading sensor.

Re: Hobbs Meter
Thanks for the reply.
It would not surprise me if Rainier uses the same software subroutine in different instruments to accomplish the same task.
If one instrument has a problem, they might all have the problem.

Re: Hobbs Meter
Do you have a setting to Round the RPM to the nearest 10 rpm that is rounding the 9001 to 9000?
I would still assume the EMS should be looking at the Raw number and halting the Hobbs.

Re: Hobbs Meter
Thanks for the feedback! Better late than never. This confirms that it not an isolated problem and is truly a systemic issue. I can see that it has gone undetected as it takes a long time to show any change because it takes 2.4 minutes to get the first TIC of the clock. Hopefully, we can get Rainier...

Flight Timer
As long as we are looking at the various timers. When selecting the Hobbs or Tach Timers to display Minutes or Decimal hours, the separator changes from a colon(:) to a decimal point(.) as expected. However, the Flight Timer retains the Colon even when displaying Decimal hours. This should be an eas...

MGL_Hobbs_E.jpg And the Lane status for both sides are available. MGL_Hobbs_F.jpg May I suggest that the Question is Not why the Ho...

Re: Hobbs Meter
FYI, I intentionally set the TACH 100% point unrealistically low only for testing purposes. This has confirmed that it is being calculated based on 9001 rpm. - - - The BIN file installed successfully and Ver. 1.1.0.5 is current. The diagnostic screen shows "RDAC is connected" and RPM1 = 9001 I do no...
