Interesting. I have a similar setup with a Blaze Alt/ASI/VSI as my backup which also provides baro data to an older Mode C txpdr via rs232. VSI variation between the two instruments is no more than 1knot. ALTITUDE is pretty close too. But VSI on the MX1 is quite variable and wrong.

Its been a while since I did the settings on my EMS. Did set each of the 12 thermocouple settings? If you do, you get the six columns. I also have had an issue with the two Aux. I’d actually like 5 so I can monitor ignition module temp, carb temp, coolant temp exiting the heads, coolant temp exiting...

I too have not been able move past the ‘calibration’ step. I do the calibration , but the data is not saved. In the AoA diagnostics its clear the AoA pitot pressure is being capture as the raw data goes up and down as you’d expect. Seems to me a software issue...its not converting the raw data to co...

I scoped my erratic FF measurements (Red Cube, Rdac XF, Jabiru 2200, Xtreme EFIS) and we found a 60v negative spike on the ground. Fix was installing a different voltage regulator.

I understand the MX1 cannot do synthetic 3D vision, but can it deliver ‘AGL’ or a terrain warning? Or is terrain beyond it completely?
