I solved the issue with rpm reading.

My current settings are High Gain OFF, Ballast On, Filter OFF.

Pulse per revolution: 1

Hello, I have the exact same issue. My settings is High Gain On, Ballast On, Filter OFF. When the configuration is for 1pulse per rpm with above settings the displays shows almost twice rpms (e.g. the engine sound like on 1800-1900 the mgl shows 3800-4000) rpm.
