G3 Update 1.1.2.7 released
This update addresses Audio quality issues on G3 Lite systems.it introduces a fast fading mechanism borrowed from the G4 to silence the audio output if there is no activity (reduces residual digital noise). The mechanism to create the audio signal has also been completely redone to eliminate glitches which could occur due to timing issues between firmware and hardware. The G3 uses a PWM signal to generate the audio stream and the new firmware synchronizes the PWM updates with PWM period edges.
