Hello I am new in this forum and have a problem programing my ems2
I have installed the system in a vans rv4 that has a lycoming 0320 engine and I would like to run the same senders that the engine has currently.
I ran all my sensors though a RRDAC XG unit and from there to my FF and EMS via CAN-bus wires, I have also selected the RDAC for my sender and half of my sensors are not working.
my fuel flow is not reading correctly I have chosen USER for my sender and have dialed in several values for pressure ( 0, 1, 3, 5, 7 psi ) using an analogue gauge to use the proper values, this works fine while the engine is off and as soon as I run the engine my FF reads zero any suggestions ?
My RPM is not reading anything I have used a Plead with a 10 OHM resistor from a Sureflite mag , no readings.
My oil pressure is not reading properly even though I installed several VDO senders 0-2 bar , 0-5 Bar and 0-10 bar and selected the appropriate one so I know the sender is not the problem.
My OAT temp is also crazy I used a MGL probe and I am sure it is wired correctly .
Please see the photos attached.
My EGT and CHT temps are inverted for some reason.
I simply don't understand the instructions and I definitely think this is programing but don't understand how to do the switches inside the RDAC unit I do not know what Line High and line low mean.
I really hope someone can help me out as my airplane is grounded until I figure out this deal.
Regards
Christian
