Using iEfis Lite as GPS source for Trig TT22

Apologies for asking about what is probably a routine operation for most on this forum...

How do I use the iEfis lite as a GPS source for my Trig TT22? I have a head unit for the transponder so the Trig interface cable doesn't sound like the right solution.
Pin 5 on the TT22 seems to be GPS IN - but I have no idea how to connect this to the iEfis which has RS232 and CAN bus connectors.

I'd be very grateful if someone could either point me to a resource or jot down the steps I need to follow.

Thanks a mil
Andrew

P.S. I also see a TIS traffic out pin on the Trig - is that useful at all for displaying traffic on the iEfis?

Although I can't answer your question, I wanted to say that my understanding is that Discovery Lite GPS as a source is not precise enough for ADSB (there is a SIL incompatibility).

I had to additionally install MGL SP-12 as a source (and it's not available generally, I only found it in New Zealand) for the PAPR report to come back with no exceptions.

My suggestion is to get the Trig GPS source - seems like a high quality unit and you can integrate it per the instructions with it.

(I am in the US, so not sure if your country rules differ).

Great thanks. From what I've been told it's sufficient: South Africa seems to require RTCA DO-260A standard and from my very basic research it seems that this standard is based on RTCA DO-229D - which the iEfis lite meets. But I'll do some investigation as we know where assumptions can land you...

I welcome any further thoughts from the forum... As well as any help in the wiring so I can at least get a test running.
@rainier I'm sure you could answer this in your sleep :)

Cheers
