We have not been able to source the GPS module that forms the bases of the SP-12.

I have received a note from Aspen Avionics who bought the GPS device maker NexNav a few years back that they had issues with their contract manufacturing but are now producing with a new one and we should have a batch of the GPS modules in a month. We are ready on our side and can proceed the moment we have them.

This is a big issue for many avionics makers as this GPS module is pretty much the only game in town and we all depend on it.

I found that Stuart Parker, an MGL dealer in New Zealand has a few of these units in stock and bought one from him - he sent it to me in the US. I installed it and my ADSB PAPR report came with no discrepancies. If anyone needs this unit, Stuart might have one or two.
