V6 settings

Good day, I’m new to the forum and the world of MGL avionics. Thank you for your patience.
I recently purchased a Vans RV-7A with MGL avionics installed. I believe it is the EFIS lite Challenger ?? It also has the 2 1/4 inch V6 comm with built in intercom. My issue is I have a Bose A10 headset. My transmissions are clear to ATC, however when I increase power above about 1500 rpm, the reception becomes unintelligible. There’s a lot of noise coming through when I key the mic. Can someone share with me your settings in the V6 that are using the A10 headset?
