Not dying I hope, but clearly spread way too thin. That's the problem with selling at lower prices. Not enough income to hire the people it takes to support so many products and not enough engineering/testing time to perfect them. It's a difficult cycle to break out of (ask me how I know).

Assuming your engine is normally aspirated manifold pressure is generally negative (a vacuum). Fuel pressure is positive so I vote no on that part.

It may be correct, but I don't like the look of the way you have connected the grounds/shields. As an experiment I would disconnect the shiled connections in all four places and see if you get any sound. It might might not be perfect but you should have some sound. I find my V16 to be remarkably sensitive. I can hear traffic 60 miles away clearly and I can pick up the AWOS from further away than any other radio I have tried. And this with a known poor antenna.
