It may be correct, but I don't like the look of the way you have connected the grounds/shields. As an experiment I would disconnect the shiled connections in all four places and see if you get any sound. It might might not be perfect but you should have some sound. I enabled AUX input and tried different input gains, but I only hear noise although the audio transformer is installed.

I don't hear any message like "GPS available".

Noise is different when I change screens for example, as you commented in a previous post.
