We have a standard RS232 level converter inside the Blaze instrument. +-12V levels meet specification.

You need all the gp messages listed in the manual if you want the satellite position in the skyview and signal quality to be displayed on the GPS page. The GPRMC and GPGGA will be fine if you just want fuel range.
Just make sure you are using com port 2 to connect to your gps data source.

Please make sure that the baud rate in the EMS-1 comm menu is set to 57600.

You can connect the Blaze EMS-2 CAN directly to the Rotax912IS CAN. The 912is CAN interface can be connected to both the GEA24 and to the EMS-2.

Hi Steve, You need to send the GGA message so the Xtreme knows what fix it is. Once a 3d fix is obtained then the gps altitude will be displayed. Hi Spooby, You can connect the Garmin G5 RS232 Tx and RS232 ground to the Xtreme EMS Port 2 Rs232 Rx and ground. (Setup the garmin and Xtreme accordingly eg Baud rate) Any external GPS receiver that is capable of RS232 NMEA out can be connected to the Xtreme EMS. You cannot just cut of the connector...

Yes, you are correct. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The negative Alarm/high items are swapped. We will fix this in the next day or so.
You can find the firmware revision in the MISC SETUP->INFORMATION.
