I check the Version of the software in the IBOX and it read ''Version 1001'', the version that I did upload was supposed to be Version 5. I dont see a 5 in the Version number ? Re: 2 Challenger installed one active one inactive.
Thanks Rainier,
I will set the serial port correctly and will watch for next update for the acknowledge function, although it is not a problem really.
Regards
Sylvain

Re: Chalenger Horizon
I have a red face today, the problem was only the barometric pressure wrongly adjusted, the alitmeter showing -420 and the airport is at +420 feet. What made this strange is that the horizon is loking just fine til the GPS have a fix, then the horizon goes wrong if the altimeter is set wrong. My GPS...

GPS serial link to Artex 345 ELT
Hi all,
What would be the setting to send a GPS information to an Artex ELT, it is expecting a NEMA 0183 GPS signal at 4800 baud rate, I suppose the Port 6 of the iBOX can do it. What is the best setting to match this ELT.
Regards
Sylvain.

I still have to tune things on this new iEFIS but it show very nice capability also.
Thanks
Sylvain

Hi, I just installed a Chalenger IEFIS with a V16 radio on my airplane , the audio is working I am greeted with the usual ''GPS Available '' and ''Waypoint Arrival' every time I energize my panel. I have set the alarms low and high for most of the sensors connected to my RDACS. The problem I have is...
