This page contains premade sound files for
your MGL EFIS.
The sound files you can download here are kept up-to-date and are
the same as used with current production units. If you have updated
your EFIS by loading a new BIN file and the update supports
additional sounds or phrases, be sure to also install the latest
sound file.
Male voice: Download using this
link (right-click and choose "save as"). The file name is
"Sounds.esd".
Female voice: Download using
this link (right-click and choose "save as"). The file name is
"Sounds.esd".
Installation
Copy downloaded "Sounds.esd" file onto your SD card.
Insert SD card in your EFIS (you should see the blue "MMC
mounted" message).
Goto Menu level 2 (press Menu twice).
Select "System setup menu"
Select "System inititialization"
Select "Load Sound file from SD/MMC card"
The loading process takes a few minutes. Should the load fail,
simply repeat until it completes.
At this point the new sound file is operational, enjoy...
